Edifier G2000 Speakers Review

The standard image of the computer speakers consists of a wooden box, several speakers and a separate subwoofer. And it is the right image. The sound requires volume, each frequency range requires its own transmitter, amplifier and expensive source. But what happens if there is no desk space? Well, look for small speakers. Only accredited small businesses sell valuables for wild money, and "names" with their plastic boxes are fortune tellers in a D20 cube. Today we have an exception: Edifier G2000 Bluetooth RGB Gaming Speakers.

The Edifier G2000 speakers work both analogically and via Bluetooth with USB, shine in different colors and promise "high quality sound". The package includes the Edifier standard: power supply, USB-USB cable and speaker cable with a pair of 3.5 mm jack connectors. All this is packed in separate bags and made of high quality, but without frills like rags.

The Edifier columns were plastic. The front part was molded in a slightly rough plastic, the side and the back were smooth. Only a 2.75-inch speaker was placed in the front, a bass reflex hole was cut in the back and the resonance frequency was reduced. Three backlight lines were placed behind her. They did well, they closed it with matte plastic that "ate" the excessive brightness and scattered light, and chose four colors: blue, red, green and purple.

The left column is paired and carries traditionally. It contains all the electronics and all the inputs and outputs. This is a separate power supply from the power outlet, a USB type A output to connect to a computer, an input for a 3.5mm jack and an output for a subwoofer. In other words, if there are not enough bass, buy an active subwoofer, connect it and the G2000 becomes a three-phase system.

All G2000 controls are located on the left side of the speaker. These are two buttons and the volume control in the middle. At first, it seems strange. We do not know how much the amplifier is. In addition, the lever is fixed and you must hold the speaker so that it does not rotate. But during the tests, we get used to it and we have no particular complaints.

The buttons are easier. The lower section controls the backlight and equalizer settings. The summit is responsible for feeding and changing sound sources. At the same time, each action is commented on by a female voice, so there is no indicator. It is easy to connect. You can connect a 3.5mm jack to the sound card or using a USB cable. Windows installs the drivers themselves. Bluetooth 4.2 is also available as an option and works without visible delay.

The G2000 are speakers for those who do not have space for solid wood boxes. The headphones are so tired that your hair is already bristling. And in such a paradigm, acoustics is such a good miracle. The only drawback is a narrow cable between the satellites. The rest is all you need: multiple connectivity, work with the phone and a pleasant sound.
